Sunday was just a really great day as we welcomed a number of young people and children to receive communion for the first time.  Over the weeks of preparation, again and again, I've been struck by the fact that children have such a quality of faith.  They trust God and in his promises in a way that both inspires and challenges me.  I find it all too easy to come to the party with worldly concerns and categories of question when what I really need is the humility to accept that God is God - that his ways are not our ways.  God says it 'works' - and it does.
