5 May| 14:30 - 16:45
Chatting and creating community is one of the things that women do well! But busy lives can take over and it’s important that we take time-out to re-connect with one another. On Saturday 5th May we will have chance to do just that with an afternoon of worship, teaching and discussion followed by a cream tea, just for women and girls (school years 7 upwards) in the HT church family.
The Bible encourages us to:
– Cheer each other on
– Encourage one another
– And encourage the giftings we see in each other
We are called to raise up younger leaders, but also to seek and learn from the wisdom of an older generation.
At Flourish Together we will be exploring what the bible says about supporting and helping each other through life and on our faith journeys across generations, and how we can make the most of that as a community of women at HT. We will be taking a closer look at the relationship between Ruth and Naomi so it would be beneficial if you read the book of Ruth before the event – don’t worry, it’s only small!
To book your place please email Suzanne Chapman or contact the church office. Let us know of any special dietary requirements you may have. A suggested voluntary donation of £3 per person would be most welcome to cover costs with any surplus money collected going to a local women’s charity (tbc). Please arrive from 2:15pm for a prompt start at 2:30pm.
