Faith
is personal but not private. God calls us to look outward - to connect
with the needs of our friends, work colleagues, local community,
country and world. At Holy Trinity we aim to express our faith through
practical initiatives, financial giving, prayer and publicity.
For
friends and contacts who want a chance to ask questions about the
Christian faith and particularly Jesus Christ we offer Alpha
courses. Over 10 weeks the course offers an opportunity to ask
questions about the meaning of life and Christian beliefs in a relaxed
and unpressured environment. Evenings begin with a meal, followed
by a short talk and leave plenty of time to chat. Topics include
'Who is Jesus?', 'Why did He die?' 'How do people communicate with
God?' and 'What happens when we die?'.
For
practical action in this country we have recently supported projects
including The Noise and Soul in the City.

ON
THE MOVE
Now
in its 4th year, On The Move is a week long street mission
run together by Aylesbury churches. It's about ordinary Christians
meeting with the public and sharing their faith in an informal
and relaxed atmosphere.
A
free barbeque lets us demonstrate God's care for everyone.
Musicians and singers set the scene, 'inviters' and 'welcomers'
greet and chat to passers-by. It's also a great chance to
meet and work with Christians from other churches.
