Giving
One of the ways we worship God is through our financial giving and as a church we are committed to making the most of what is given in order to see the growth of God’s kingdom and to further His purposes. The money you give is used in numerous ways – enabling our staff, investing in our local church ministries, giving back to our local community and supporting our overseas mission partners.
Whatever you can give, no matter how big or small, it is gratefully received.
Regular Giving
We gently ask those with bank accounts and a regular income, who see Holy Trinity Aylesbury as their ‘Church family’, to give via the Parish Giving Scheme. This enables us to budget and plan ahead what we are able to do.
In the ‘My Giving‘ section of your ChurchSuite account, there is an option to pledge your giving. This communicates to us how often and how much you intend to give.
One Off Gifts
There are several ways you can make a one-off gift; via the Parish Giving Scheme using credit or debit card, cash or cheque. Our preference is to receive one off gifts via the Parish Giving Scheme as it is the most cost efficient and they handle gift aid claims for us reducing administration. If you are unable to make online payments, please do contact us about making a donation with cash or cheque
What Is Gift Aid?
If you are a UK tax payer (Income or Capital Gains Tax) and would like us to be able to claim back the basic rate tax through the government’s gift aid scheme, you will need to complete an ongoing Gift Aid declaration. This can be setup in the ‘My Giving’ section of your Churchsuite account or you can request a form from the church ‘Giving’ Team by sending a message to giving@htaylesbury.org. The benefit to Holy Trinity Aylesbury is that it can recover the basic rate of income tax, currently 25p for each pound given at no extra cost to you.
Donate For Free When You Shop
